Job Summary
Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach while managing a varying caseload of common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, and euthanasia. Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership to grow relationships within the practice and the Augusta community. Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program. This single-doctor swing/second shift role focuses exclusively on urgent care without wellness visits or abdominal surgeries. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients at a reduced fee compared to emergency clinics, utilizing cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and in-house lab equipment.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
