Job Summary
Provide urgent care services including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures while triaging incoming cases and collaborating with support staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations and contribute to the development of medical protocols and standards as the facility grows into a full urgent care model. Help foster a positive, team-oriented environment during this transition into a modern, high-quality clinic.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree with eligibility for Mississippi licensure
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with confidence in urgent care or general practice medicine
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care
- Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for building something new
- Interest in helping shape the future of a growing urgent care practice
- Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
- Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
- Proficient in general medicine and surgery
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
