Job Summary
Provide virtual urgent care with flexible scheduling and telemedicine workflow. Responsibilities include patient assessments, reviewing medical history, ordering/interpreting lab tests, delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with a care team (physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff), maintaining medical documentation, and staying current with telehealth best practices. Role supports fully virtual work with potential in-person hybrid opportunities; compensation includes $35 per consult with top physicians earning substantially more, and average earnings around $200 per hour, with some exceeding $400K annually. Requires active multi-state licensure in the U.S. and completion of applicable onboarding/training (may include buprenorphine training). This position emphasizes expanding access to care in addiction treatment and underserved communities; location hint: Spokane, WA, with remote-work possibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed physician in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) with willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance and costs covered)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Onboarding training may include buprenorphine training
- Ability to provide virtual urgent care with flexible scheduling (15-20 hours per week minimum)
- Ability to order and interpret labs and provide appropriate medical treatment
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (or equivalent)
- Experience across primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care
