Job Summary
Provide urgent care via telehealth/virtual urgent care with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities include delivering virtual patient assessments, reviewing medical history, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and providing appropriate treatment in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Maintain thorough medical documentation to support continuity of care, stay current with telehealth practices, and contribute to addiction treatment access and patient outcomes. Requires an active medical license in multiple states, prior telehealth or high-volume in-person experience, comfort with EMR/telemedicine platforms, and readiness to complete onboarding training (buprenorphine training included). Hybrid opportunities may be available for some in-person needs; the role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to medical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance and costs covered)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Ability to provide virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions
- Ability to order and interpret lab tests
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Participation in applicable training as part of onboarding (e.g., buprenorphine training)
