Job Summary
Provide outpatient, telemedicine-based urgent care to patients across multiple states with a focus on addiction treatment and general telehealth services. Deliver patient-centered virtual care, including assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatments, while maintaining thorough medical documentation. Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff; stay updated on telehealth best practices and medical advancements. Licensing in multiple states with readiness to obtain additional licenses as needed; flexible scheduling with opportunities for fully virtual work and occasional in-person hybrid shifts. Compensation includes per-consult and potential hourly earnings, with a track record of high annual earnings for top performers and substantial patient-volume opportunities. Onboarding may include buprenorphine-specific training.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance and costs covered)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Ability to provide virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment
- Ability to order and interpret lab tests and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to addiction treatment, underserved communities, and expanding access to care
- Participation in onboarding training which may include buprenorphine training
