Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, history reviews, and medical treatment, while ordering labs, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine), and maintaining documentation. Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Stay current on medical advancements and telehealth innovations. Commit to 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) over four days, scheduling one week in advance. Hold an active license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX) and DEA certification. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities with streamlined EMR support and competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
