Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care to patients via telemedicine, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment decisions in urgent care/telehealth settings. Order and interpret lab tests as needed, collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, and maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care. Stay up to date with telehealth innovations and best practices, with onboarding that may include buprenorphine training. Most services are fully virtual, with potential in-person hybrid opportunities; work from anywhere with a focus on addiction treatment and expanding access to care.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five)
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Commitment to 15-20 hours per week or more
- Participation in applicable onboarding training (including buprenorphine training)
