Job Summary
Assist veterinarians throughout patient visits for urgent care cases including bandage changes, ear cytologies, wound care, and triage support for stable patients. Provide client education and discharge support while collaborating with the emergency team to assess and treat non-critical urgent cases. Work swing shifts, weekends, and holidays to support the expanding hospital's emergency and specialty services.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of general practice experience preferred
- Strong interest in urgent care and emergency medicine
- Comfort working swing shifts, weekends, and a holiday rotation
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
Desired Qualifications
- CVT, RVT, or LVT
- Desire to obtain technician licensure
- Interest in pursuing a VTS
- Experience in urgent care, emergency, specialty, or high-volume general practice
