Urgent Care Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the veterinary clinic, coordinating staff schedules, providing coaching and performance feedback, and training new team members. Partner with veterinarians to ensure seamless client communication, manage escalated concerns, and maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Support technicians in patient care, ensure clinic areas remain clean and stocked, monitor medical supply inventory and DEA drug logs, and maintain knowledge of current veterinary protocols and emergency procedures. Work Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM in a fast-paced environment requiring strong deescalation skills and proficiency with Daysmart.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduation from technical school
- Two years of practical experience in a veterinary clinic
- At least two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to remain composed while working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to solve complex problems and balance multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Deescalation skills
- Ability to resolve conflict
- Proficiency with or ability to learn/use Daysmart
- Ability to hear above the sound of the animals
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
