Job Summary
Manage patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced urgent care clinic. Perform animal handling tasks including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring. Execute clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation. Assist with facility maintenance and educate clients on care plans. Handle euthanasia, wound management, and treatments for common urgent cases like ear infections and gastrointestinal issues. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time staff may travel for on-site training and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time employees may be required to travel for on-site training and onboarding
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- This position requires regular on-site presence
- Animal handling experience including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring
- Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting
