Job Summary
Relief veterinarian for urgent care shifts at an UrgentVet Hospital. Lead-ready clinical role with after-hours care for canine and feline patients; weekday shifts 3-11pm and weekend 10am-8pm; no surgery or dentistry required. Requires DVM/VMD from AVMA-accredited college (or completed ECFVG/PAVE) and an active license in the working state. Operates in a paperless clinic with cloud EMR and IDEXX in-house lab; opportunity to deliver efficient, high-quality client experience and manage multiple patients. Contract position based in Newport News, VA with onsite work.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working
- Successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program
