Job Summary
Relief veterinarian role at UrgentVet Hospital with leadership responsibilities, covering weekday (3-11pm) and weekend (10am-8pm) shifts across a 7-days-a-week operation. Responsibilities include promoting the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience, managing multiple patients within timeframes, and utilizing cloud-based EMR systems. Must hold a DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited school (or ECFVG/PAVE completion) and an active license to practice in the working state. The clinic handles common urgent cases in a single-doctor model with IDEXX in-house labs and digital X-ray.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment
