Job Summary
UrgentCare relief veterinarian needed to cover weekday shifts 3-11pm and weekend shifts 10am-8pm at UrgentVet Hospital. The role involves leadership, trust, and promoting the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience. Manage multiple patients and priorities within allocated timeframes. Qualifications include a DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE completion) and an active license in the working state. The clinic operates with cloud-based EMR and IDEXX in-house lab equipment; after-hours care for canine and feline patients with no required surgery or dentistry.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working
Desired Qualifications
- Emergency/urgent care veterinary experience
- Canine and feline patient management
- Cloud-based EMR experience
- IDEXX in-house lab familiarity
- Ability to work flexible shifts including after-hours
- Leadership and client service orientation
- State license in good standing
- AVMA-accredited veterinary degree (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- ECFV/G or PAVE program completion (if applicable)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
