Job Summary
Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted timeframes while promoting the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience. Conduct daily urgent care for canine and feline patients, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, and euthanasia, without performing surgery or dentistry. Operate within a single-doctor model using cloud-based electronic medical records, digital x-ray, and in-house lab equipment to deliver efficient after-hours care. Work weekday shifts from 3-11pm and weekend shifts from 10am-8pm, seven days a week.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working
