Job Summary
Urgent care relief veterinarian needed to cover shifts at UrgentVet Hospital. Role includes leadership, promoting the human-animal bond with exemplary client experience, and managing multiple patients within allotted timeframes. After-hours care for canine and feline patients; no surgery or dentistry required. Clinic uses cloud-based EMR, online queue, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment. Schedule includes weekday 3-11pm and weekend 10am-8pm; open 7 days a week. Paperless clinics with a single-doctor model for common urgent cases such as wound management and vomiting/diarrhea. Eligible candidates should hold a DVM/VMD and an active license in the working state; ECFVG/PAVE acceptable.
Required Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working
