Urgent Care Practice Nurse

Job Summary
Be the first point of contact in our Urgent Care Service, performing accurate triage and frontline nursing care in collaboration with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner. Provide hands-on procedural care such as suturing and plastering, assess and escalate patient deterioration, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining meticulous documentation. Opportunities to educate patients and families, support clinical goals, and contribute to a dynamic urgent care environment. Requires current AHPRA RN registration, availability for evenings and weekends, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in ED/triage/ICU or related settings. Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Availability for evenings and weekends
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Department/triage/ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing
- Working with Children’s check and National Police check if not already obtained
