Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Urgent Care Service at ForHealth. Be the first point of contact for patients in urgent care, performing triage with accuracy and empathy, delivering front-line nursing care, and escalating emergencies when needed. Responsibilities include thorough nursing triage, hands-on procedures such as suturing and plastering, and providing patient-centered care while maintaining meticulous documentation. Collaborate with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners and care teams to identify suitable patients for the service, educate patients to support their wellbeing, and participate in safety initiatives. Requirements include current AHPRA registration, availability evenings and weekends, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in ED, triage, ICU/CCU/remote nursing, plus Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check if not already obtained. The role offers opportunities for training and development in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment across ForHealth centres in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting OR 3 years of triage experience OR 3 years of experience in ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing
- Working with Children’s check and National Police check if not already obtained
