Job Summary
Triage and assess every patient presenting to Urgent Care, prioritizing care and identifying those requiring emergency escalation. Perform hands-on procedural care including suturing and plastering while maintaining meticulous documentation and championing workplace health and safety. Collaborate with medical practitioners and families to deliver compassionate, patient-centered outcomes and provide essential health education. Requires AHPRA registration, 3+ years of nursing experience, and availability for evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting OR 3 years of triage experience OR 3 years of experience in ICU, CCU, Rural or remote nursing
- Previous experience in triage with an emergency department, remote nursing
- You will be required to provide a Working with Children's check and National Police check if not already obtained
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail
- Can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate
