Job Summary
Urgent Care Physician — Westlake, OH. Join University Hospitals Urgent Care and deliver high-quality medical care to both adults and children with a patient-centric approach. Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing high-quality medical care, documentation and communication to support patient care and reimbursement, participation in meetings, and maintaining certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as required by the area. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed in the state, with current DEA and credentialing eligibility. Prior Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees
