Job Summary
Provide medical care to patients presenting with acute, non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries by taking histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications. Collaborate closely with nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive care within a team of three providers, five medical assistants, and three patient support representatives. Clinic hours run seven days a week with 12-hour weekday shifts and 8-hour weekend shifts, featuring limited call expectations. The role requires a BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine, along with a Washington State medical license and DEA registration. Experience in urgent care is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
