Job Summary
High-volume Urgent Care department seeks a physician to join a physician-led private practice in West/Central Florida. Responsibilities include treating walk-ins with no nights and no call, 8am–6pm coverage with 15 shifts per month and two weekends per month, performing procedures such as lacerations, I&Ds, and foreign body removals, and coordinating care with an on-site team of RNs/LPNs and a regional hospital network. Use EPIC EMR for documentation; available on-site imaging (CT, Ultrasound, X-ray) and full lab testing; collaborate with a diverse, multi-specialty base for timely referrals. Requires BC Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine, FL medical license (or eligible), and at least one year of experience in primary or urgent care; compensation includes guaranteed base salary up to 260K, relocation assistance, partnership track, and comprehensive benefits. Located near Tampa, FL, with no night or on-call requirements beyond weekend commitments.
Required Qualifications
- BC Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine
- FL medical license, or eligible
- One year experience in primary care or urgent care preferred
- Proficient in procedures required
