Job Summary
Urgent Care Physician provides high-quality, patient-focused care in a team-based clinical setting. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients; prescribing medications and developing appropriate treatment plans; collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and support staff to deliver coordinated care; maintaining a professional, welcoming presence with patients, families, and team members in person and by phone; supporting operational, administrative, and organizational goals; and contributing to a culture focused on quality, service excellence, and financial stewardship.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency program
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Board certification must be maintained, with no lapse longer than one year
- Certification must be recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association
