Job Summary
Under the direction of the provider, the APRN/PA handles patient appointments and performs routine examinations, prescribes or administers treatment and medications, orders/interprets diagnostic tests, educates patients on lifestyle and disease prevention, coordinates with other healthcare professionals, and directs clinical staff. The role is 100% clinically focused on direct patient care with documentation, charting, meetings, and related tasks in a value-based care setting. Fluency in Spanish and DEA certification are preferred; DEA, ACLS, and other certifications may enhance eligibility. This position is based in Winter Haven, FL and requires an active Florida NP/PA license and Board Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (NP or PA) from an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Board Certification from an accredited board
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in State of Florida
- Two or more years of adult medicine experience as an NP or PA
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
