Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse or Paramedic needed for Morley clinic to triage and assess urgent care patients, provide frontline care, and perform procedures such as suturing and plastering within a dynamic Urgent Care setting. Responsibilities include triage, comprehensive assessments, prompt action for deteriorating patients, high-quality person-centered care, patient education, and thorough documentation. Requires AHPRA registration as a Nurse or Paramedic, Working with Children and National Police Checks, with 1 year minimum triage/urgent care experience (5 years post-graduate preferred). Strong communication, critical thinking, autonomy, and a patient-centered approach are essential. Required Qualifications
- AHPRA Registered Nurse or Paramedic
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- 1 year minimum experience in triage/urgent care setting (preferably)
- 5 years post graduate experience preferred
- Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Autonomy to work independently and delegate when necessary
