Job Summary

Provide comprehensive urgent care including diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, and health maintenance to a dedicated patient panel across SEARHC Juneau locations. Collaborate with Urgent Care and Primary Care teams, participate in telemedicine and inbox management programs, and deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Practices may include procedures such as laceration repair, suturing, splinting, I&D, and medication management, with emphasis on high-quality care, documentation, and utilization of EMR tools (Meditech, Dragon, DAX CoPilot AI) to support outcomes. Full-time schedule involves three 12-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) with rotation for after-hours coverage and weekend/holiday access.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
  • Postgraduate Urgent Care experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or MD/DO) considered
  • Eligibility for SEARHC medical staff privileges
