Job Summary
Pediatric urgent care role providing urgent and episodic care for patients from infants through young adults in a fast-paced, pediatric-focused urgent care environment. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, perform urgent procedures (e.g., laceration repair, abscess drainage, foreign body removal), and deliver education and reassurance to families. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care; maintain documentation in athenaOne EMR and contribute to telemedicine initiatives. Per diem shifts in the Long Island area (evenings and weekends); NY NP or PA license and DEA registration required. This role emphasizes a physician-led, collaborative approach within Allied Physicians Group’s pediatric urgent care network.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York NP License
- Active New York PA License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA Registration
- Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
