Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Youngsville, LA. Outpatient role in an established urgent care and occupational medicine network. Responsibilities include delivering patient care in urgent care, performing procedures, arranging referrals, evaluating patients to diagnose and plan treatment, conducting clinical procedures within scope, informing patients about diagnoses and treatment goals, maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record with CDI focus, and performing occupational and telemedicine care along with non-patient facing duties like lab and x-ray review. Must hold or be able to obtain an NP or PA license, DOT certification within 60 days, and DEA licensure; strong knowledge of drug interactions and excellent communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain
- DOT certification within 60 days of hire
