Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Goose Creek, SC. The role supports a 3-day/12-hour weekly schedule with no overnight shifts, offering full-time benefits at 30 hours or more and a competitive compensation package. Advanced Practice Providers evaluate and implement high-quality medical care for adults and children in collaboration with center physicians, maintain thorough documentation, participate in meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development and credentialing while delivering patient-centered care in an urgent care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of South Carolina
- Current DEA registration
- DOT certification
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
