Job Summary
Pediatric Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Staten Island, NY. Provide urgent and episodic care for infants through young adults in a high-energy pediatric urgent care setting. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal, support telemedicine and patient-centered initiatives, and maintain documentation in athenaOne EMR. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care, while delivering reassurance and clear communication to families during stressful moments.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State NP or PA License
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- DEA Registration
- Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
