Job Summary
As an essential member of the clinical team at Carbon Health, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care in a high-performing, collaborative environment. Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing urgent care procedures, and efficiently managing clinic flow. Candidates should possess a relevant medical or nursing degree, requisite licenses, and experience in urgent care settings is preferred. Additional qualifications include BLS certification and the ability to perform various medical procedures such as wound closure and minor surgical procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification (for Physician Assistant)
- RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license (for Nurse Practitioner)
- Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state
- Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted DEA license
- BLS and/or ACLS certification required before first day
- DOT Certification (to be obtained prior to start date)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ER, urgent care or similar setting (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to work two full weekends per month (required for full-time clinicians)
- Availability to work in other clinic locations and some holidays as needed (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted medical and DEA licenses required
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
