Job Summary
Provide locum tenens support for urgent care and same-day episodic visits, including fractures, suturing, X-rays, and toenail removal. Manage three scheduled patients per hour across two blocks, with 20-minute slots for in-person and video visits, and 10-minute slots for telephone consultations. Maintain comfort with telehealth modalities while prioritizing face-to-face care. Requires experience in higher acuity settings; ER experience is a plus. Complete credentialing within 90 days. Work Monday through Sunday, 12pm to 10:30pm, with every-other-weekend rotation totaling 40 hours. AMN Healthcare handles travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
