Urgent Care - Nurse Practitioner | New York

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory studies, X-rays, and point-of-care testing. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and incision and drainage. Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on preventive care and medication use. Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure coordinated care, refer patients to specialists when necessary, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings to enhance operational efficiency. This full-time role is based in the Bronx, New York, within a multi-specialty network focused on improving patient outcomes through integrated care.
