Job Summary
Deliver virtual comprehensive urgent and primary care as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Requires active NP license with RN licensure, multi-state licensure (preferred 5+ licenses), and at least 3 years of experience in high-volume urgent care or primary care. Telemedicine/virtual care experience is a plus; proficiency with EMR (Athena) is preferred. Role supports a remote-first culture with NC licensure necessary; schedules include full-time and modified full-time options, with evening shifts, weekend rotation, and holiday coverage. Responsibilities include managing care across ages, collaborating with a care team, ensuring quality patient engagement, and navigating a broad range of conditions in an integrated practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with RN licensure
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status
