Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner position in Wyoming with remote-first culture and telemedicine duties. Responsibilities include conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating/diagnosing/treating a broad range of conditions across the lifespan, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, developing/timely documentation of treatment plans, managing acute/chronic/mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients, and providing cross-coverage for lab result reviews. Role requires multiple-state licensure, NP certification, and experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care. Flexible scheduling with evenings and weekends; telemedicine experience and Athena EMR are preferred. Salary ranges from $98,400 to $123,000 annually, with benefits and remote-work reimbursement; remote-first but licensure and state restrictions apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
