Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner delivering virtual comprehensive care to patients across all ages in a high-volume Urgent Care/Primary Care setting. The role requires board-certified NP with master’s-level or doctoral-level FNP training, active NP/RN licenses including multi-state licensure, and strong telemedicine capabilities. The position offers a remote-first culture, full-time schedule (40 hours/week or 32 hours/week as an option), and a compensation package around $123,000/year with base + incentives. The clinician will work within an integrated medical practice, provide patient-focused care, coordinate with support teams, and utilize electronic medical records (e.g., Athena EMR). Prior telemedicine experience is a plus; ideal candidates hold multiple active state licenses and have 3+ years of experience in urgent care or primary care settings, with care spanning newborns to adults.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with RN licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
