Job Summary
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner delivering virtual urgent care to patients across the lifespan. Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluate and diagnose a broad range of conditions, order and interpret diagnostics, develop and document timely treatment plans, and provide cross-coverage for lab results. Works in a remote-first telemedicine setting with flexible evening/weekend scheduling, multi-state licensure, and a focus on high-quality, accessible care. Requires active FNP certification, RN/NP licenses, and multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred); 3+ years of urgent care or primary care experience; proficiency with EMR and strong patient engagement skills. Includes option for 40-hour full-time or part-time shifts with remote collaboration and home-office support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
