Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner sought for a remote-first role delivering virtual comprehensive care to patients across ages with responsibilities including age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating and treating a broad range of conditions, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other providers. Requires an accredited FNP program graduate with active NP license, RN licensure, multi-state licensure (preferably 5+), and 3+ years in high-volume Urgent Care/Primary Care. Role supports telemedicine, has remote work elements, and requires flexibility for evenings and weekends; familiarity with EMR (Athena) and Medicare status is beneficial. Schedule options include Full-Time, Modified Full-Time, and Part Time; shift details and days may vary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- RN licensure in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
