Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner role with Included Health seeking board-certified NPs licensed in Ohio with multi-state licensure. The position supports virtual comprehensive care to patients across age ranges in a remote-first culture, with options for 40 hours/week or 32 hours/week, base salary around $123,000/year with equity and incentives. Responsibilities include conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, diagnosing and treating conditions across the lifespan, ordering/ interpreting tests, documenting treatment plans, managing acute/chronic/mental health conditions, coordinating referrals, educating patients and families, maintaining current clinical knowledge, and cross-coverage for lab results. Preferred qualifications include prior telemedicine or video-based care experience and Athena EMR familiarity. Required Qualifications
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Active NP license with RN license
- Active national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care
- Experience delivering care across newborns through adults
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status
