Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner needed for a full-time remote-first role delivering virtual comprehensive care across age groups. Responsibilities include conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating and treating a broad range of conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, developing and documenting treatment plans, managing acute/chronic/mental health conditions, and coordinating referrals. Requires a Master's or Doctoral-level FNP with active NP license and multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred), RN licensure, national certification (AANP/ANCC), 3+ years in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care, and proficient EMR use. Telemedicine experience and Athena EMR familiarity are preferred. Schedule options include multiple full-time/part-time configurations with evening and weekend rotations. Remote work is supported with a Texas licensure base. Includes salary of $123,000/year with remote-first benefits and paid parental leave; benefits package is discussed during hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
