Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner needed in Minnesota for a remote-friendly, full-time role with a base plus equity and benefits. The practitioner will provide virtual comprehensive care to pediatric and adult patients across urgent/primary care in a high-volume setting, conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions, and developing treatment plans. Requires an active Family Nurse Practitioner certification/license (AANP/ANCC) with multiple-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred), RN license, and at least 3 years of post-training experience in urgent or primary care. Remote-first culture with work-from-home support and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Must maintain Medicare status and be proficient with EMR systems (Athena). Responsibilities also include counseling patients and families, coordinating care, and staying current with clinical best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with RN licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
- Schedule flexibility including evenings and weekends
