Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner delivering virtual comprehensive care to patients across ages in a remote-first culture with a focus on urgent and primary care. Requires board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Masters (or higher) and active NP license, RN licensure, and multi-state licensure (5+ preferred). Minimum 3 years in high-volume urgent care/primary care; able to provide care from newborns to adults; proficient with electronic medical records (Athena EMR) and telemedicine/virtual care. Roles are Full-Time (40 hours/week) with option for Modified Full-Time (32 hours/week). Schedule includes evenings, weekend rotations, and holidays; location is Utah with license requirements and state restrictions listed. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, collaboration within an integrated medical practice, and excellent patient engagement. Role involves delivery of virtual comprehensive care across a range of conditions, with opportunities for equity and productivity incentives discussed during interviews.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- RN licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status
