Job Summary
Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner role delivering virtual comprehensive care to patients across ages. Requires board-certified FNP with multiple-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred), 3+ years in high-volume urgent or primary care, and active RN license. Responsibilities include virtual history/exams, diagnosing/treating a wide range of conditions, ordering tests, documenting treatment plans, cross-coverage, and flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends. Telemedicine/virtual care experience and Athena EMR are a plus. Location is Washington, DC with remote-first capability; multiple shift options (full-time, modified full-time, part-time) and a compensation package around $123,000/year with benefits. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with RN licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status
