Job Summary
Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed, develop and document treatment plans, and manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients. Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate, counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans, and maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care. Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results and offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends. Requires active RN compact license, multi-state licensure (5+ preferred), and 3+ years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care. Work every other weekend and evening shifts between 3pm-11pm.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed in Wyoming
- Broad clinical expertise
- Passion for improving healthcare access and quality
- At least 3 years experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Active RN compact license
- Licensure in multiple states
- Five or more active state licenses
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen
- Ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status
- In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid
- Not excluded from participation in federal health programs
- Weekly shifts scheduled between 3pm-11pm
- Required to work every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday) scheduled between 3pm-11pm
- 2 holiday shifts required per calendar year
- Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Multi licensed strongly preferred
- Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience
- Experience with Athena EMR
