Urgent Care Medical Assistant

Job Summary
The Medical Assistant will perform patient care by taking vitals, patient history, and triaging, assisting with procedures such as incision and drainage, administering medications, conducting lab testing, and managing front desk duties. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program, current BLS certification, and preferably 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. This position requires availability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current BLS certification
- Willingness to obtain DOT certification
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Great communication skills
