Job Summary
Urgent Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Urgent Care Centre, oversee a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care, ensure centre runs smoothly and meets clinical and regulatory standards, drive workflow improvements to enhance patient flow and reduce wait times, manage staffing, onboarding and performance development, ensure governance, accreditation and quality standards, monitor site performance including financial outcomes and service delivery metrics, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external healthcare partners.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience (urgent care, primary care, or ED highly regarded)
- Proven leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
