Job Summary
Urgent Care Fellowship for new graduates in Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) seekers. The program offers a 6-month fellowship with 40 hours per week (including weekends), mentorship, didactics, clinical rounds, proctored shifts, and opportunities for full-time or part-time placement after completion. Fellows will provide acute care services including performing physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment, ordering and interpreting X-rays, labs, and EKGs, triage and manage patients, perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, minor surgical procedures (wound closure, I&D, foreign body removal), joint/o rthopedic procedures (closed reductions, braces, splints), and other proctored clinical activities within urgent care. Education pathway emphasizes growth in acute care medicine with a dynamic startup environment, competitive pay, and benefits. Applicants must hold a Master’s-level credential for PA or an RN with NP certification for NP, possess a valid state license and national certification (or equivalent), and be willing to obtain DOT and BLS certifications prior to start date.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification
- Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license
- Willingness to obtain DOT certification prior to start date
- Willingness to obtain BLS certification prior to employment start
