Job Summary
Urgent Care Fellowship program for new grads in NP/PA with 40h/week shifts (including weekends). Fellowship offers an educational, mentored experience in acute care medicine, with proctored clinical shifts, didactics, clinical rounds, and pathway to full-time opportunities after completion. Responsibilities include providing exceptional patient care, conducting physicals, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments; ordering/interpreting X-rays, labs, and EKGs; triage and manage patient flow; performing digital blocks, regional anesthesia, wound care (I&D, foreign body removal), and minor procedures (joint injections, closed reductions, splinting/brace application). Requires NP/PA credentialing as applicable, state licensure, national certification, and pre-employment DOT and BLS readiness. Compensation is $104,000 annually with benefits; program length is 6 months, with potential full-time/part-time roles after completion.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification
- Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license
- Must be willing to obtain DOT certification prior to start date
- Willingness to obtain BLS certification prior to employment start
