Job Summary
New graduate fellows in urgent care will participate in a curated educational fellowship program designed to introduce and inspire a career in acute care medicine. Responsibilities include providing urgent care with patient examinations, ordering/interpretation of X-rays and lab results, triage, digital nerve blocks and regional anesthesia, minor procedures (I&D, foreign body removal, wound closure), closed reductions of simple fractures, applying orthopedic braces, and performing joint injections and aspirations. Candidates should have a Medical/Master’s degree for PA or RN/NP credentials with active state licensure and national certification, and must be willing to obtain DOT certification and BLS prior to start. The program offers mentorship, clinical rounds, proctored shifts, and potential full-time or part-time opportunities after fellowship, with compensation of $104,000 annually plus benefits and a six-month program length.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification
- Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license
- Must be willing to obtain DOT certification prior to start date
- Willingness to obtain BLS certification prior to employment start
