Job Summary
Enrolled Nurse needed for Urgent Care Service at ForHealth, supporting urgent-care nursing tasks under RN supervision. Responsibilities include balancing administrative duties (Medicare billing, accurate coding, documentation 40%) with hands-on clinical care (60%), welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining up-to-date registration. Provides nursing care for injuries/illnesses, administers medications, wound care, plastering, and delivers patient education while ensuring care within scope and organizational policies. Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Must be flexible and available evenings and weekends
- Meet minimum experience: 3 years as a Primary Care/General practice nurse OR 2 years in Emergency Department/similar OR 3 years in Medical/Surgical/Orthopaedics or similar acute care
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
