Job Summary
Welcome patients, conduct histories, and support clinical assessments for urgent conditions alongside Registered Nurses. Administer medications, perform wound care and plastering, and provide patient education while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Complete Medicare billing and coding requirements, ensure care adheres to scope of practice and policies, and support workplace health and safety by reporting incidents. Requires current AHPRA registration, flexible evening and weekend availability, and three years of primary care or emergency experience. No overnight shifts are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- 3 years' Primary Care/General Practice nursing experience OR 2 years' Emergency Department or similar experience OR 3 years' Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedic or similar acute care experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations
- A passion for patient-centred care
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check, with an International Police Check where applicable
